Data Deletion Request

Effective: May 1, 2026 Last updated: May 3, 2026 SLA: 30 days

01Overview

Veltrum.io ("Veltrum", "we") gives commerce teams a way to deploy AI agents across their stack — including connections to Meta (Facebook, Instagram and the Meta Marketing API), Google, Shopify and other platforms. When you connect one of those accounts, we receive data on your behalf to operate the workflows you've configured.

You can ask us to delete that data — yours or your end users' — at any time. This page explains exactly how.

Quick path
Email info@veltrum.io from the address associated with your Veltrum account, or from the Meta / Google / Shopify account you connected. Subject line: "Data Deletion Request". We confirm within 72 hours and complete deletion within 30 days.

02What data we hold

Depending on what you've connected and which agents you've deployed, Veltrum may hold:

CategoryExamplesSource

03How to request deletion

You can request deletion in any of the following ways. All routes go to the same Data Protection team and the same 30-day SLA applies.

Option A — Email (recommended)
Send a request to info@veltrum.io
Include: (1) your Veltrum account email, (2) the connected platform(s) the request covers (e.g. "Meta ad account 123456789"), and (3) whether you want partial deletion (a specific connection) or full account deletion. We may ask for verification before processing.
Option B — In-product
Workspace settings → Integrations → Disconnect
Disconnecting an integration immediately revokes the OAuth token and queues all platform-sourced data for deletion. Disconnecting your full workspace (Settings → Workspace → Delete workspace) deletes everything we hold for your organisation.
Option C — Removing the Veltrum app from Meta
Meta Business Settings → Business Integrations → Remove "Veltrum"
This sends a signed deletion request to Veltrum via Meta's Data Deletion Callback. We process it on receipt and complete deletion within 30 days. See Disconnecting Meta below.

04What happens after a request

  1. Acknowledgement (within 72 hours). You receive a written confirmation including a request reference ID.
  2. Verification. If the request comes from outside the registered account, we may ask for additional proof of identity or authority before we proceed.
  3. Token revocation (immediate). Any OAuth tokens for the affected platform(s) are revoked at our end and at the upstream platform.
  4. Production deletion (within 30 days). Personal data and platform-sourced data are removed from our production databases, object storage, search indexes and caches.
  5. Backup expiry (within 90 days). Encrypted backups roll off on their normal cycle and the data is unrecoverable from that point.
  6. Confirmation. You receive a final confirmation when production deletion is complete, quoting the same reference ID.

05Disconnecting Meta specifically

Because Meta requires a documented deletion path for any app that uses the Meta APIs, here's the precise procedure:

  1. Sign in to business.facebook.com.
  2. Open Business Settings → Integrations → Business Integrations.
  3. Find Veltrum in the list and choose Remove.
  4. Meta will notify Veltrum via the Data Deletion Callback we have registered for this app. We will:
    • delete all Meta-sourced data (ad insights, page tokens, ad account associations, audience metadata, etc.) within 30 days;
    • send a confirmation to the email registered against the Veltrum workspace;
    • provide a status URL that Meta can poll if a reviewer requests it.
For Meta App Reviewers
The data deletion request URL for this app is https://veltrum.io/data-deletion. The deletion request callback handler email of record is info@veltrum.io. We do not currently expose a programmatic callback endpoint; user-initiated removal from Meta Business Settings is acknowledged via email and processed manually within the 30-day window.

06What we may retain

A small number of items may persist beyond a deletion request, strictly where the law requires it or where we have a legitimate, narrow operational need:

None of these contain Meta-sourced personal data — they cover Veltrum's own billing and audit footprint only.
